Free range, pastured pork, fed with non GMO grain.

Our pigs live on pastures in rotational grazing with portable shelters. They have all the room they need to express their natural behaviours. They have access to a nice, large mud hole to cool off in the summer heat and they are very active outdoors.

We currently source our piglets from a conventional local pig farm. In 2019, we plan to build our own sow farrowing barn, in order to raise our own piglets, which will allow us to switch to organic production.

Our pigs are fed a GMO free feed that is custom made for us by a local mill. The feed contains organic soy, wheat, barley and minerals. It does not contain any antibiotics, hormones or animal by-products. We supplement our pigs’ feed with fallen apples and veggies from the garden.

Our pork is lean and incredibly flavourful. Our what based feed gives a whiter fat, and denser, tender meat.

We sell pork by the carcass (whole or half) and a variety of cuts. We also offer cured meats: old-fashioned maple smoked bacon and ham, nitrate free, and a variety of sausages, many without gluten.
