OUR FARM
Ferme Point du Jour is a small business located in Bury, in the Haut-Saint-François MRC of the Eastern Townships, specializing in the production of meat and eggs from animals raised on rotational pasture and fed non-GMO feed containing no animal by-products, antibiotics or hormones.
Its partners, Dominique St-Arnaud and Christophe Berthias, have extensive experience in complementary areas. They share a common passion for human-scale local agriculture.
OUR MISSION
- To produce wholesome agricultural products that are of the highest quality or farming standards and agro-ecology principles;
- To promote human-scale farming as a viable and sustainable food production system;
- To forge links with local partners;
- To actively pursue experimentation through continuous research and training; and
- To share the learnings acquired through our research component.

- We donate occasional surpluses to our local food bank, Moisson Haut-Saint-François.
- Pascal le boucher, a friendly and ecoresponsible craft butcher in the Villeray neighbourhood of Montreal. His philosophy: eat less meat, but choose it more carefully!
- Coop d’Alentour, a consumer cooperative operating as a health food store, located in Sherbrooke
- Boucherie Éric Vachon, a small local butcher located in Saint-Isidore D’Auckland, where master butcher Éric expertly prepares our meats into selected cuts and makes our sausages.
- Boucherie Coutu, where our bacon and hams are smoked the old-fashioned way with natural maple wood smoke, without nitrates.
- Boulangerie les Vraies Richesses, an artisan baker and pastry shop located in Sherbrooke
- Le Silo an independent zero waste grocery store located in Sherbrooke, offering local and organic products.
- Épicerie les Récoltes an independent zero waste grocery store located in Montreal, offering local and organic products.
